Watercolor Trees with Zan Thompson
This workshop teaches the steps in creating tree forms in watercolor: branches, trunks, and light.
Some of the topics covered are scene selection, composition and focal point, use of color, use of contrast and methods of applying paint to get the perfect aesthetic and texture.
This workshop is for all skill levels

Zan Thompson worked as a landscape architect and planner for more than forty three years. He paints strictly in watercolor, is a signature member of Watercolor Society of North Carolina, and teaches several classes. He loves to teach art from drawing to painting but especially watercolor painting. He likes to share with his students the little tricks that helped him conquer the difficult medium of watercolor.
