Best Mom Ever — a live, interactive comedy experience
Best Mom Ever — a live, interactive comedy experience
Best Mom Ever is a warm, observational stand-up show about the messy, hilarious, and sometimes tender realities of parenting, marriage, and showing up imperfectly. Gently therapy-informed and deeply relatable, the performance invites the audience to participate, share in laughter, and feel a renewed sense of connection with each other — like a big, joyous, slightly chaotic community. Themes include imperfection, repair, and the absurdities of motherhood, all explored with wit, warmth, and playful storytelling. Expect chocolate, improvisation, and moments that feel both personal and universal.

(Check out his instagram - sapwoodworking)
Hey, I’m Sap. I create relief prints from real trees, capturing their story through texture and time. For this demonstration, I’ll be bringing a selection of smaller wood pieces, ready for you to print with.
I’ll have handmade paper, a variety of ink colors, and all the tools you’ll need to make your own print. I’ll walk you through my process, from how I find my wood to pulling the final print; while also sharing why I do this work and what continues to drive me.
This is meant to be hands-on, educational, and fun. You’ll leave not just having watched, but having made something of your own.
So come by, get your hands a little dirty, and print a tree with me.

June Storytelling Festival with Connie Regan-Blake
Storytelling is easier than you think! This workshop welcomes all - teachers, parents, librarians, ministers, storytellers, and those just curious. Connie generously shares tools she has developed and learned throughout her trailblazing storytelling career that spans 5 decades and 6 continents.
With partner exercises and a ‘walk through memories’, you will enjoy exploring events of your life in a supportive, creative atmosphere. Utilizing ‘deep listening’, you will also experience how the 5 senses and the ‘colors’ of the moment bring a story to life and connect you with your listeners. Whether telling to family on the front porch, a gathering at a party or on a stage, you’ll get a taste of ‘art & heart’ of storytelling.
So join us if you are drawn to stories – both the telling and the listening.
