Summer Art Camp 2025

We have a fun schedule featuring the culinary arts, music, glass exploration, and theatrical performance, and more—all presented by amazing instructors!

Classes will fill up fast, so sign up today.

The BAC’s 2025 Summer Art Camps:  Monday – Thursday, 9AM – Noon.  June 30 – July 31.
(Campers must register for the whole week, MondayThursday).

  •  Campers will meet at the Burke Arts Council, located at 506 S. Sterling Street, in downtown Morganton.

  • This program is for kids 7–11 years of age.

Cost:  

  • Four classes, Monday–Thursday

  • $90 per week for BAC Members

  • $100 for Non-Members

  • Siblings will receive a 10% discount after the first child (please call to arrange)

  • Scholarships are available. (please call to arrange)


What to Bring/What to Wear:

  • Campers should wear clothes (and shoes) they are comfortable getting dirty.

  • A snack will be provided but campers are welcome to bring their own snack.

Our 2025 line up of summer camps this year will both engage & expand your child’s creativity!

  • (June 30–July 3)
    This week the kids will roll up their sleeves and get in the kitchen with Chef Lara for a week of culinary adventures! The young chefs will enjoy four days of fun, learning, and culinary exploration!

  • (July 7–10)
    Discover the magic of music during this fun four-day camp designed to inspire mini musicians by introducing them to a variety of instruments and the folks in our community who play them.

  • (July 14–17)
    Join us for some fun as we get creative with stained glass and fused glass. Our fabulous instructors will lead the kids in these shiny art experiences to create some fantastic pieces of art!

  • (July 21–July 24)
    Campers will delve into the immersive world of clay and leather. Discovering different techniques to spark their creativity and create masterpieces with these natural elements.

  • July 28–August 1*
    *Friday, August 1: theater production open to family and friends!

    Join us for an exciting week of creativity in our brand new theater! We’ll offer an unforgettable mix of acting, singing, dancing, and imaginative play. There will be something for every young performer, including a c hance to perform for an audience.
