The Burke Arts Council presents FIVE by FIVE, an inaugural community art exhibition celebrating creativity, community, and the season.
The show features original 5x5-inch artwork made and donated by local artists and community members.
Come enjoy some food and drinks, and the chance to collect original art while supporting the Burke Arts Council’s mission to nurture and sustain our vibrant creative community.

Attention artists and creatives! Five by Five Call for Art! - The Burke Arts Council invites all artists and creatives to participate in its inaugural Five by Five Art Show, held in conjunction with the beloved First Frost celebration. This exciting event showcases original, donated artwork—all sized 5x5 inches.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Artists/ Creatives may submit work in any form: painting (watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media), fused glass, pottery, woodwork, etc.
2. Pieces must not exceed 5x5 inches (Free 5" x 5" canvases provided by BAC).
3. All submissions are donations to support the Burke Arts Council’s general operating fund.
4. Each piece must be labeled on the back with your Full Name, Artwork Title, and Medium.
Canvas Pickup & Drop-off:
Pick up a canvas from BAC or create your own 5 x 5.
Free 5x5 gallery-depth canvases are available for pickup at the Burke Arts Council, 506 S. Sterling St.
Complete the attached form by November 8 if you’re interested in participating.
Deadline to submit your completed artwork: November 21.
Each 5x5 inch work will be for sale to the public at the Burke Arts Council on Friday, November 21 for $25 each. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Burke Arts Council.
