Learn how to weave a market basket with a handle during this all-day basket-making workshop! This workshop is designed for beginners or intermediates who wish to brush up on their skills. All tools and supplies will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own aprons. This is an all day workshop, so please prepare a bagged lunch, or try a tasty option in town. Limited space is available. Please register early!

Bridget VanRemortel has been weaving baskets for over 10 years. She first learned to weave in middle school. She has taught in North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Bridget belongs to guilds in West Virginia,Tennessee and North Carolina. She is currently the Vice President of the North Carolina Basketmakers Association.
